The Colombian police seized 14 tons of cocaine hidden in a gypsum shipment in the Pacific port of Buenaventura, which the government considered one of the largest in over a decade.
The police didn't specify which group was responsible for the shipment nor the route it could take, but assured it was bound to the Netherlands.
"We prevented millions of doses from reaching international markets," said General William Rincon, Director of the Colombian National Police.
A police statement remarked that they have also seized nearly 700 tons of cocaine between January and September, deeming it a "record."
