Ginna Claire Mason and Mary Kate Morrissey became best friends while playing Glinda and Elphaba on the national tour of Wicked and they both went on to play the roles on Broadway, though at separate times.

Now that they’ve both concluded their journeys with Wicked , the former co-stars have come together to record the duet “For Good,” but this time with a country twist.

“ Mary Kate and I played opposite each other as Glinda and Elphaba for a year together on the national tour of Wicked , and have been best friends ever since. We both went on to play the roles on Broadway, but at separate times,” Ginna Claire wrote on Instagram .
