ROCKFORD, IL — Winnebago County prosecutors have declined to prosecute GoRockford CEO John Groh on a misdemeanor DUI citation issued Oct. 29.
State's Attorney J. Hanley said prosecutors decided not to pursue the case following a review of evidence the day after Groh was cited.
"The State's Attorney's Office reviewed the case the next day, and based on the reports it received, it declined charges," Hanley said, adding that the decision could be reversed based on the results of toxicology tests.
