GLOUCESTER, Va. — A Newport News man was arrested on multiple child sex offense indictments after a juvenile reported being abused about two years ago, deputies said.
Anthony Josue Rodriguez-Arias, 21, was taken into custody on charges including aggravated sexual battery, carnal knowledge of a child 13 to 14, forcible sodomy, three counts of rape, two counts of sexual assault of a child, three counts of indecent liberties with a child under 15, two counts of producing child pornography, and one count of reproducing child pornography.
The Gloucester County Sheriff's Office said an extensive investigation followed the juvenile’s disclosure. The case was presented to the Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office, which prepared indictments for the Nov. 3, 2025, grand jury.
