On Dec. 1, from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. several streets near downtown Denton will be closed while King Street Productions films for a television show.

Per a city-required notification from the Paramount Network, affected areas include:

West Hickory Street, between Elm Street and Locust Street

West Walnut Street, between Elm Street and Locust Street

South Elm Street, on the east side between Walnut Street and Hickory Street

South Locust Street, on the west side between Walnut Street and Hickory Street

Off-duty Denton police officers will be available to help with traffic control and public safety, according to the notification.

Beth Marie’s Old Fashioned Ice Cream will be closed Nov. 24 through Dec. 2 due to the filming, General Manager Robert White said.
