PINETOP-LAKESIDE, Ariz. — A homicide investigation is underway in Navajo County after a 59-year-old woman was shot to death last Thursday night.

The Navajo County Sheriff's Office said deputies are investigating the murder of a Pinetop woman in the area of Bruin Way and Branding Iron Loop. The call to NCSO initially came in at about 9:30 p.m. on Nov. 20.

NCSO said there's no current threat to the community.

The deceased woman has been identified as Kerri Ann Abatti.

No suspect information is available to release at this time and anyone with information about the incident is asked to call NCSO at 928-524-4050. The investigation is ongoing.
