PHOENIX — Several firefighters were dispatched on Thanksgiving Day to a structure fire at a mobile home park in Phoenix.

The incident was reported at around 10:45 a.m. in a community located near 27th Avenue and Van Buren Street. Fire officials told 12News that a 10-year-old girl was transported from the scene for smoke inhalation and other injuries.

The child had been rescued from the blaze by bystanders before being taken to a hospital for evaluation, the Phoenix Fire Department said.

Some structures in the park have sustained damage.

Firefighters were seen deploying multiple fire hoses inside the park and managed to contain the fire to one mobile home. Three people have been displaced.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
