Johnny D. Copeland, 74 of Symsonia, Kentucky passed away on Thursday, November 20, 2025, at Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center in Paducah, Kentucky.

Born Thursday, November 30, 1950, he was the son of the late Joe Copeland and the late Naomi Joyce Copeland. He retired from Uranium Disposition Services (UDS) in the maintenance department in Paducah, KY. He was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Paducah. Johnny was a devoted husband and a loving father and grandfather.

Surviving are daughters; Sabrina RunningThunder (Ghost) of Symsonia, Dawn Schwartz (John) of Murray, KY and Jodie Hooper (Phil) of Benton, KY; brother, Donnie Copeland (Theresa) of Paducah, KY; sister, Tammy Lamb of Paducah, KY; grandchildren, MaKayla Spalding, Madison Perry, Trini RunningThunder, Nicholas Hoo
