ALLEN PARK -- The Detroit Lions are still missing two of their top starters in the defensive backfield. But they have a chance to get a boost back there in the form of veteran cornerback D.J. Reed.

Cornerback Terrion Arnold (concussion) and safety Kerby Joseph (knee) have been ruled out. Reed (hamstring) is questionable after logging three limited practices this week. Arnold has missed the last two games and four overall this season. The second-year cornerback has also exited five of the seven games he’s played due to various injuries.

Joseph will now miss his fifth consecutive game. The All-Pro safety has been working through knee injuries dating back to training camp. Joseph has three interceptions in the three games he’s played.
