GRAND BLANC TWP, MI – Recalls have been filed against six Grand Blanc Township officials over fire Chief Jamie Jent having been placed on administrative leave.

Recall language was filed Thursday, Nov. 20 by Monica Shapiro with the Genesee County Clerk’s Office for Supervisor Scott Bennett, Clerk Dave Robertson, as well as trustees Joel Feick, Mike Yancho Sr., Paul White, and Sarah Hugo.

“Allowed fire department chief Jamie Jent to be placed on administrative leave from October 20, 2025 through October 29, 2025,” the recall language reads. “Allowed the terms of chief Jents reinstatement to include 90 additional days of employee probationary period from November 3, 2025 through February 1, 2026.”

The chief was put on administrative leave in October after raising staffing concerns.
