The 2025 Michigan high school football playoff season is just a week away from crowning state champions in 11-man football.

One of the many great state semifinal games happening at 1 p.m. Saturday in Michigan is East Kentwood (10-2) vs. Detroit Catholic Central (12-0) in Division 1.

Detroit Catholic Central entered the postseason as the No. 2 team in the final MLive Top 25 as well as No. 2 in the final Division 1 AP rankings . East Kentwood finished the regular season at No. 11 in the former and No. 10 in the latter.
