CINCINNATI —

The Cincinnati Bengals have placed cornerback Cam Taylor-Britt on injured reserve, while also activating tight end Mike Gesicki ahead of Sunday’s game.

On Monday, Bengals head coach Zac Taylor said Taylor-Britt has a Lisfranc injury that will likely require surgery and end his 2025 season. Advertisement

A former second round pick by the Bengals in the 2022 NFL Draft, Taylor-Britt has played in eight games this season, recording 21 total tackles.

Taylor-Britt had been supplanted on the depth chart by DJ Turner II as Cincinnati’s top cornerback and will be replaced by a combination of Dax Hill, Josh Newton and Marco Wilson.

In a positive note for Cincinnati, Gesicki now appears slated to return for Sunday’s game against the New England Patriots.
