Luis Diaz has been ruled out of Bayern Munich ’s Champions League clash with Arsenal next week.
The Colombian was sent off in the Bundesliga sides’s 2-1 win over Paris Saint-Germain earlier this month, having scored both of the hosts’ goals in the first half.
Just minutes later, he was given his marching orders for a lunge on right-back Achraf Hakimi, who suffered a sprained ankle.
The former Liverpool forward has now been suspended for three games, meaning that he will miss Bayern’s trip to north London, before home games against Sporting Lisbon and Union Saint-Gilloise next month.
Vincent Kompany, the Bayern boss, had said on Friday that he had expected the winger to be banned for just one game, but he will in fact be ruled out for the German side’s next three European outing
