D.J. Reed is expected to return from a hamstring injury for Sunday’s game against the New York Giants , but the Detroit Lions will have to wait at least one more week to get another injured starter back in the lineup.

The Lions ruled defensive end Marcus Davenport out for this weekend in his return from a pectoral injury.
