KEMPTVILLE — The board of trustees of the Catholic District School Board of Eastern Ontario (CDSBEO) received a report with details on annual financials Tuesday.

Spanning Sept. 1, 2024 to Aug. 31, 2025, the CDSBEO posted a planned accumulated deficit of approximately $330,000, as outlined in a director’s annual report .

“This was a planned deficit and related specifically, almost entirely, to our new ERP implementation for HR, finance, and payroll,” said Terri Adamthwaite, CDSBEO manager of finance, during Tuesday’s meeting, adding the original budget deficit for the fiscal period was about $558,000.
