Charlotte Football is heading between the hedges this weekend, rolling into Athens for a Saturday showdown (Nov. 22) with No. 4 Georgia, a full-on heavyweight test for a program trying to find its footing.

Georgia (9-1, 7-1 SEC) is the second-highest-ranked opponent the Niners have ever faced, trailing only the 2019 clash with then-No. 1 Clemson. Charlotte (1-9, 0-7 American) walks in as a major underdog, and that’s before factoring in the injury report.
