Horticulturalist Monty Don has shared his gratitude that the latest series of Gardeners’ World has finally wrapped for the year. The BBC evening show is filmed at his cherished Longmeadow garden, where the TV host shares his best tips and tricks for green-fingered viewers. The veteran broadcaster, who has fronted the show for more than two decades, admitted that although he’s accustomed to the annual schedule, he’s overjoyed to walk through his garden without cameras following his every move.
In his latest column for BBC Gardeners’ World Magazine, the dad-of-three revealed that production teams will return to his Herefordshire home in the spring and the “lack of pressure” provides a much-needed respite.
