ALEX CITY, Ala. ( WSFA ) - An east Alabama man is behind bars following a string of robberies, according to the Alexander City Police Department.

ACPD was first called to the 300 block of U.S. Highway 280 by a business alarm where officers found the business had been burglarized. Shortly thereafter, ACPD was called to two more business alarms in the 2000 block of U.S. 280 and the 1700 block of Dadeville Road.

Around the same time, two other law enforcement agencies were called to two additional burglary scenes, one in Kellyton, the other also on U.S. 280.

A vehicle was found to have been taken from one of the businesses, which Tallapoosa County sheriff’s deputies spotted speeding on U.S. 280.

After making a traffic stop on the vehicle, authorities arrested the driver, Kentavious Mile
