The Auburn Tigers made a very notable headline this week with regards to their starting quarterback on Saturday against Mercer.

Earlier in the week, news broke that they were going to sit Ashton Daniels — who has been starting the last couple of weeks — in order to preserve his redshirt and save his eligibility for next season, but that left the question of who was actually going to start.

With the only two choices really being the starter from the start of the year Jackson Arnold and high profile freshman Deuce Knight, Auburn is going to see what they have in the youngster according to an announcement from DJ Durkin.
