RENO, Nev. (KOLO) - Reno City Councilwoman Megan Ebert has announced her intention to run for re-election representing the North Valleys area.
“The North Valleys have a character and charm all their own. When I first ran for office, I promised to be a strong voice for a community that is often overlooked. That commitment has not changed. I have worked every day to fight for our families, our neighborhoods, and our future," she said in a release.
Ebert says her priorities include the roads and infrastructure in the North Valleys, saying she is excited for the completion of a new section of I-580/US395. She also says she has worked with RTC on road improvements.
She also used discretionary funds to install flashing crosswalk beacons near schools and worked with the Washoe County School Di
