CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – CARTA presented Phase One of a new Incline Master Development Plan during Thursday’s board meeting.
The first phase is described in the board packet as an eight-month feasibility study, intended to provide guidance on the Incline Railway’s future and help the agency plan its next steps.
The board reviewed financial data showing that Incline revenue is $237,000 below budget, while operating expenses were $98,000 favorable.
Board members also discussed procurement actions, including issuing a Request for Proposals for Incline concessions and ticket sales and approving a sole-source agreement with Brookville Services to replace an Incline railcar window.
