Interim Celtic manager Martin O'Neill has given a significant update on the fitness of several players.
Speaking earlier today after the club's Annual General Meeting, O'Neill confirmed that central defender Cameron Carter-Vickers will be out for the season.
He also gave the latest on Callum Osmand and Alistair Johnston , who both had surgery two days after Celtic defeated Kilmarnock 4-0 just before the international break.
"With Alistair Johnston, it'll be four or five months," O'Neill said. "Although they had the same operation on the same day, Callum Osmand was worse, believe it or not. He’ll be five months.
"Obviously, Jota is out now. I'll not see him. I'll certainly not see any of those boys."
