BATH TOWNSHIP, Ohio — Police have arrested three people in connection with the mass shooting that killed one and injured eight others earlier this month, authorities said Friday.
Police apprehended Jashawn Stewart, 19, of Akron, Derquan Edwards, 18, of Akron and a 16-year-old whom authorities did not identify. Edwards and Stewart face charges of murder and felonious assault, while the juvenile faces charges of delinquency to commit murder.
Bath Township Police Chief Vito Sinopoli said at a Friday press conference that the incident caused “a tremendous amount of chaos and heartbreak.”
