A growing number of Longmont nonprofits are saving money on their internet service a year after NextLight launched a discount program for local organizations.
The program’s growth comes as the community-owned fiber internet service provider continues to improve its network capacity and cybersecurity tools to keep internet connections running smoothly across the whole city.
The 10% discount program began in November 2024 and is open to any qualifying nonprofit. Twenty-eight organizations now participate, collectively saving a combined $6,700 each year, according to a city news release.
