Before Baker Mayfield joined the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in March 2023, he was filling in for an injured Matthew Stafford in Los Angeles and playing for his third team in two seasons. He famously led a game-winning drive against the Las Vegas Raiders just days after being cut by the Carolina Panthers, and started the final five games of the year for the Rams.

Now he gets to face those Rams for the first time since playing for them on ‘Sunday Night Football,’ and he shared some of what he got out of his time in L.A.

“It helped me find the fun in football again. It was instrumental in my career, something I’m forever grateful for, and it will be fun to go back and see some familiar faces,” he said .
