The Lake Michigan College Board of Trustees is likely to select the next college president at its December 16 meeting.
LMC Board Trustee and search committee chair John Grover tells us the board is looking at Dr. Ken Flowers, the current executive vice president, for the role. Trustees met this week, but Grover says the committee wasn’t quite ready yet to make the official recommendation.
“ We are in the process of dotting our Is and crossing our Ts and gathering the data that we need to make our final decision whether to offer him that position outright or whether we would go for a national search,” Grover said. “ Honestly, I believe it’s leaning toward making the effort to Ken.”
