LAMBEAU FIELD, Wis. (WBAY) - Ahead of Sunday’s Packers game against the Vikings and the winter stretch of home games, officials are reminding fans about Lambeau Field’s safety policy.

No bags or purses are allowed in unless they are clear.

Fans are encouraged to have their tickets out and ready before getting to the kiosks, and as temperatures get colder, fans with specialty warming clothes should expect entry procedures to take extra time.

“We see the battery-operated heating devices, whether it’s gloves, socks, vests, that sort of thing. For those fans that are bringing in more clothing or those types of clothing, leave yourself more time because there might be an extra check that’ll be involved as you’re coming into the stadium,” says Aaron Popkey, the director of public affairs for
