Three men are charged in connection with a midday homicide last month in White Oak, according to Allegheny County Police.

Kenneth Hayman, 33, was on his motorcycle shortly before 2:20 p.m. on Oct. 12, when police said a Chevy Silverado with three men inside pulled up near Mr. Hayman on Jacks Run Road.

The three men — later identified as Victor Cruz, Jacob Baker and Albert Renchko — got out and started moving toward Mr. Hayman, authorities said.

“As Hayman attempted to run from the area,” police wrote in a statement, “gunfire was exchanged with one of the men from the truck and Hayman was shot multiple times.”

Authorities said witnesses and “additional evidence collected during the investigation” led them to the truck owner — Mr. Cruz, 27.
