Several people were arrested in a major drug bust west of Bremerton on Friday, Nov. 21 that temporarily closed a nearby road in the morning.

According to a statement by the Kitsap County Sheriff's Office, detectives and SWAT served a narcotics search warrant at a property in the 1700 block of Seabeck Highway, near where it meets Northlake Way just west of Bremerton, and closed the roadway in the morning to investigate.

During their search, law enforcement seized narcotics, stolen property and a firearm, and eight individuals were taken into custody on various warrants and drug-related offenses. The property was a "longstanding nuisance," according to KCSO.
