GONZALES, La. (WAFB) - The owner of a Gonzales bar was arrested for allegedly serving alcohol to underage patrons, days after a shooting outside his establishment injured two people.
Joshua Johnson, owner of Pelican Pub, was taken into custody following the arrest of 19-year-old Colby Breaux, who authorities say fired shots outside the bar after a fight may have erupted inside.
The Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office says two people were injured in the shooting less than a week ago. One victim, a 20-year-old, was struck by three bullets.
Ascension Parish deputies escorted Breaux to jail earlier this week after he was found in Terrebonne Parish.
