The DynaLife fiasco turned into a whodunit this week when Premier Danielle Smith told the legislature, referring to the DynaLife report: “I think the most serious allegations were levelled against AHS, when the new CEO destroyed the notes of the outgoing CEO, Mauro Chies.
“I think AHS does have a lot to answer for with its internal practices.”
The “new CEO” was Athana Mentzelopoulos. She was fired Jan. 8, two days before she was scheduled to talk to the auditor general about an even more explosive matter, payments to private surgery clinics.
