It's Week 2 of the 2025 Florida high school football playoffs , and we've seen tons of juicy matchups as we inch closer to the state tournament.

The first round didn't feature a ton of upsets, meaning the regional semifinals included several highly anticipated matchups with some of the best teams from Miami and Tampa to Orlando and Jacksonville. We saw a lot of exciting rematches , from Nease vs. Buchholz and Columbus vs. Miami Palmetto to Beachside vs. Ponte Vedra and Merritt Island vs. Eau Gallie. There were also some intense rematches from last year's playoffs, including West Orange-Venice, Tampa Bay Tech-Edgewater and Gaither-Lakeland.

Friday night also saw the Rural class quarterfinals, highlighted by defending state champ Madison County facing No. 1 Blountstown on the road. Nex
