Al Falah University in Faridabad has responded to the show cause notice it had received from National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) last week, explaining that the outdated accreditation on the it’s website had been overlooked, and that it has been taken down.

A senior NAAC official said that they received the university’s response earlier this week. In its response, the university pointed out that the outdated accreditation on its website was not done unintentionally and that it was overlooked. The official added that it was taken down immediately.

In a show cause notice issued on November 12, NAAC had stated that the institution had publicly displayed expired accreditation on their website. It asked the university to respond within seven days, and remove the accreditation
