Maryland State Police investigators are still waiting for results from the state medical examiner in an investigation into human skeletal remains found along Interstate 70 near New Market this month.

Investigators responded to an area near I-70 and Green Valley Road on Nov. 5 after officers from the Department of Natural Resources investigating reports of illegal hunting in the area reported finding the skeletal remains.
