Adolis García is no longer a Ranger.
The franchise non-tendered García ahead of Friday’s deadline after a disappointing 2025 season.
García slashed a career-worst .227/.271/.394 with 19 home runs last season.
And he wasn’t much better the year before, hitting .224/.284/.400 with 25 long balls.

The Rangers also non-tendered catcher Jonah Heim and right-handers Josh Sborz and Jacob Webb.
“I’d like to express the club’s sincere appreciation for the efforts of each of the four players included in today’s announcement,” Rangers president of baseball operations Chris Young said in a statement after the moves.
