Three days after a Class 10 student of St Columba’s School jumped to death at the Rajendra Place Metro station, the Delhi Police on Friday said they have recorded the statements of five of his classmates to corroborate the sequence of events. The four teachers, accused of harassment by the student in his suicide note, will be called for questioning soon, officers added.
The police have also asked the school to preserve the CCTV footage from the seven days preceding the incident. The cases of abetment of suicide need a detailed probe before the initiation of the legal action, an officer underlined.
