MARION — Gingerbread houses are a staple of the holiday season, and now you can join in on the fun while contributing to a good cause.

The second annual Build for a Cause Gingerbread Social will take place on Saturday, Dec. 6 at the Boys and Girls Club of Southern Illinois location at 2706 W. Main St. in Marion. Doors open at 4:30 p.m. for a 5 p.m. build.
