EUGENE — Part of the clash between No. 7 Oregon and No. 15 USC will center around a collision of each of their greatest strengths.
The Ducks have the top pass defense in the country, but allowed their most passing yards of the season (215) in the loss to Indiana, the top opposing passing attack they has faced to date.
USC has the No. 10 passing offense in yards and No. 11 in efficiency, but its worst game in the air was against Nebraska, with Jayden Maiava completing just 9 of 23 passes for 135 yards with an interception in a 21-17 road win.
