Iwas sitting in the waiting room at my cardiologist’s office the other day when I noticed a funny cartoon. A woman was all wired up and walking on the treadmill. Standing in line in front of her was her boss, her auto mechanic, and her teenage daughter. Each of them was giving her bad news. You could see the sweat pouring out of her. The caption read, “One doctor decided to make his stress tests a bit more realistic.” I laughed out loud.
I’ve had a stress test. I can tell you that walking the treadmill was nothing compared to some of the recent events that I’ve had to deal with. Life happens. I am sure you have been there, too.
