Netflix has a new crime thriller on the way, this time starring Joel Edgerton . The streamer has had some very successful crime series in the past . Last year, it released the spy-based thriller Black Doves , which was met with positive reviews and strong viewership.

The miniseries Adolescence particularly took the world by storm earlier this year. Its performance resulted in multiple Emmy wins. Other successful Netflix crime series have included You , Narcos , and Money Heist .

As reported by Deadline , Netflix's newest crime drama will be titled Trigger Point . The streamer acquired the A24 series after a bidding war. And, it has been picked up for eight episodes.
