CONCORD, N.C. (WTVD) -- Concord police have made several arrests in connection to the shooting that happened at Concord's Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony.
Four people were shot Friday night around 7:30 p.m., with authorities believing two people were shooting at each other.
"I thought the fireworks went off. My daughter thought the fireworks went off, and here it was 7, 8 rounds of gunshots," said one witness.
One of the suspected shooters, 18-year-old Nasir Bostic, was among the four people shot. He is in the hospital in critical condition, Concord police said, and faces charges of assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury with intent to kill and inciting a riot. Warrants will be served upon his release from the hospital.
