BEREA, Ohio — Just when it seems like there are no more milestones for Myles Garrett, he’s on a blistering pace to shatter a record this season that he’s wanted since the Browns drafted him No. 1 overall in 2017: the NFL single season sack record.

The Giants’ Michael Strahan set the record in 2001 with 22.5, and the Steelers’ T.J. Watt matched it in 2021.

Now, Garrett has a chance to blow them both out of the water.

In the past three games, Garrett has notched 10 sacks to tie an NFL record, and leads the NFL with 15.0. At his current clip of 1.5 per game, he’ll finish with 25.5 to take over the leader board. He’s also only one shy of his Browns record of 16.0, achieved over each of the past two seasons.
