EXCLUSIVE : Jamila Hunter is exiting as President of Macro Television Studios .

The former Disney exec has been with the company, which was founded in 2015 by former WME agent Charles D. King, since January 2024.

Deadline understands that her contract was ending and was not renewed. There is no word on replacement.

Macro Television Studios is behind series such as Apple’s David Oyelowo period drama Government Cheese , which premiered earlier this year, FX’s Tupac docuseries Dear Mama and Tubi original Always Lady London, which launched on the Fox-owned streamer last month.
