DEAR EDITOR:

The state of Ohio found the resources (unclaimed funds) to give the Haslams $600 million (free) to help build a new stadium for the Browns, but could only cough up a few pennies to feed the hungry in Ohio.

I believe this same resource should be used to supplement SNAP, seeing how this money is from the people of Ohio; however, this is what can be expected when you have a state led by Republicans.

In 2018, during Trump’s first administration, the United Nations affirmed the right to food as a universal right. Every nation on Earth supported it — except the United States and Israel. The United States and Israel realized they could weaponize food (i.e. SNAP, Gaza).

O-H- it’s sad, I know. It’s a sad, sad day for Ohio.
