Amit Shah attends BSF diamond jubilee celebration at Bhuj, Gujarat November 21, 2025
Bhuj: The Border Security Force (BSF) is marking its 61st Raising Day today, celebrating its diamond jubilee as India’s first line of defence. Although Raising Day officially falls on December 1, the ceremonial parade is being organised in advance on November 21 in Bhuj, Gujarat, with grand arrangements.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah presided over the parade as the chief guest. BSF Director General Daljeet Singh Chawdhary, along with senior officers and personnel from across the force, also attended the ceremony.
The celebrations hold special significance as the BSF completes 60 years since its formation in 1965. Over the decades, the force has been guarding the Indo–Pakistan border against terrorism
