Mercedes has been summoned to the Formula 1 stewards for not submitting set-up documents in time for the Las Vegas Grand Prix.
It relates to a set-up sheet that all teams must submit for both of their cars, as per Article 40.1 of the 2025 championship’s sporting regulations.
The article says: “Each Competitor must provide the Technical Delegate with a suspension set-up sheet for both of their cars before each of them leaves the pitlane for the first time during the sprint qualifying session and the qualifying session.”
But the stewards stated Mercedes had not submitted the sheet by 8:12pm local time in Vegas, despite qualifying having started at 8pm.
A team representative must therefore report to the stewards at 9:45pm locally, and it is not yet entirely clear what a punishment may be
