England batter Jamie Smith has been given OUT under controversial circumstances in a pulsating first Ashes Test with Australia - as the drama continues in Perth. Following a lengthy DRS review, lasting five minutes, the Surrey wicket-keeper was eventually dismissed after being adjudged to have snicked one behind off Australian debutant Brendan Doggett.

Smith found himself at the crease with England pegged backed on day two in what has been an eye-catching opener to a much-anticipated series. Once again, it was Mitchell Starc who did the key damage for the Aussies with another three wickets to add to his seven-wicket haul in the first innings.
