Another brutal cold snap is on its way and will hit the UK in just a matter of days. According to new weather maps by WXCharts and Netweather, generated on Friday (November 21), much of the country will be plunged into low single-digit and sub-zero temperatures on November 25 with the arrival of bitterly cold weather .
According to a weather map by Netweather, by noon on Tuesday, the coldest area in the UK will be the Scottish Highlands, where temperatures could drop to as low as -6C. The nearest major city to this area is Inverness, where approximate minimum temperatures are predicted to be around -4 to -5C. Elsewhere in Scotland, Aberdeen on the northeast coast is set to see temperatures of around -2C, while Dundee and Glasgow are predicted to be only slightly warmer at -1C
