SRINAGAR : A Pakistani drone was reportedly sighted hovering over a forward village along the International Border in Jammu Kashmir’s Samba district late Friday, prompting a security sweep in the area, Daily Excelsior reported on Saturday. Follow Us On G -N e w s | Whatsapp

Officials said the unmanned aerial vehicle approached from the Chak Bhura post in Pakistan before flying over Regal village in the Ghagwal sector for a few minutes and then returning across the border.

Security forces conducted a thorough search of the area to rule out the possibility of any airdropped consignment, including weapons or narcotics, but no suspicious material was found, officials added.
