The National Weather Service issued a dense fog advisory at 11:56 p.m. on Friday in effect until Saturday at 11 a.m. for Lower Columbia River, Tualatin Valley, West Hills and Chehalem Mountains and Inner Portland Metro.

The weather service states to be ready for, "Visibility one quarter mile or less in dense fog."

"Low visibility could make driving conditions hazardous," adds the weather service. "If driving, slow down, use your headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you. If driving, slow down and leave plenty of distance ahead of you. Pedestrians and cyclists should wear bright or reflective clothing to increase the chances of being seen by others in poor visibility conditions."
